Lauren – I’ve been politically minded since it was very unpopular to be so as a teenager. As an adult I’ve used my powers of articulation to answer enough questions incorrectly in my chemistry classes to graduate bottom of my class. Currently I’m using my bad dating history to convey to non-politically minded people what politics are really like.

Cassidy – Politically speaking, I’m a dunce. Most of my comments face a quick-witted, brutal retort from Shelby followed by Lauren’s howling laughter. I just can’t remember – or stomach – the never ending parade of pundits from DC. I use my English degree to listen to – and tell – the stories and efforts of the Tea Party movement. I also try to keep the show squeaky clean, Lauren notwithstanding.

Shelby – Some people scrapbook or fish. I like to hunt ideas for sport. I’m a history major, and as soon as I figure out how to do math with letters in it I’ll get that degree. Until then I busy myself illustrating the humor in progressive policy because let’s face it – it’s hard to advance your cause when the country is pointing their finger at you and laughing hysterically. Just ask the American Idol rejects.
